We had a blast exploring The Track, which offered epic views of Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds. The bag transfers provided by Cougar Line & Beachcomber were a life-saver and made our journey hassle-free. Plus, the resort had a cool pool where we could chill and soak up the beautiful surroundings.
We wished there were more options for young party-goers like us. It would have been awesome if the resort organized some awesome nightlife activities or even had a party atmosphere at the bar.

Beautifully maintained and brand-new rooms, large bathroom. Great bed and great breakfast. Soft drinks at fish bar, good service. A very good stay with a lovely swimming pool. Beautiful and fantastic location in Portage, really close to the northern South Island, comfortable areas to enjoy fine dining or casual snacks, and Cougar Line water taxi to Torea Ba. Also, by car up the hill.

Greatly enjoyed its nice and very welcoming staff.
The hotel was gorgeous, the room was new-fashioned and stylish, had essentials for a great stay. The restaurant was pleasant for dinner here, I had wonderful dishes. The location was stunning and marvellous yet it was not very far from downtown area, just 5 minutes by foot.

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 1 night, yet everything was beautiful. The staff were all fantastically friendly and provided courteous service. Recently renovated room, that also was decent sized with balcony. The breakfast was satisfactory, the check in was very quick.

We stayed one night at this hotel and had a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The staff were helpful and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the bay from the balcony. The buffet dinner was sumptuous, offering a variety of delicious options. The hotel also provided a free transfer service to and from the track, which was a convenient and much appreciated perk. this place has a peaceful atmosphere, stunning location, and excellent service.

Amazing views from the room deck and great service from the friendly staff. The room was cozy and quiet, and the breakfast and dinner selection was good. This hotel is also located in a great spot for exploring remote areas and offered free WiFi on the transportation.
For us, it was ideal.

This resort is located in a beautiful bay in the Marlborough region, making it a great spot to explore the area. Cougar Line water taxi to Torea Bay is convenient and adds to the overall experience. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, with some boasting excellent views. The facilities are well-maintained and add to the enjoyable stay.
The price for accommodations and food is higher than expected, which can take away from the overall experience.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. The views were simply stunning! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner that offered many local specialties. The location was perfect for a romantic and intimate getaway.
The hotel lacked basic hospitality skills. The staff was not very friendly and the service was a bit slow at times.

Loved dining at the beachfront Snapper Bar and Eatery, indulging in classic Kiwi "Fish n Chips" and other Kiwi favorites. The whole track can be completed in 5 days on foot or 3 days on a mountain bike, perfect for the adventurous souls. The Portage Restaurant & Bar offers fresh and contemporary food that pairs well with an outstanding Marlborough wine list, truly a treat for the taste buds.
Sat in the dark waiting for my food. Quite a unique dining experience.

This place was absolutely amazing! The location in a beautiful bay was perfect for hiking Queen Charlotte Track. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service and answered all my questions. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed, including a balcony with a stunning view. The shuttle service was a great convenience, and the free lift back up to the track was a thoughtful touch. this hotel offered enhanced comfort and quality services that made my stay truly memorable.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
